Weekly Masonic Reflection: April 8th 2026.

Message from the President of the Society of Light. “Let us not be hearers only, but doers of the Work.”
Dear Brethren, among Freemasons, there are those who merely play the part, men who wear the outward signs of Masonry, yet fail to embody its inward substance. Titles and Awards are received, dues are paid, and appearances are maintained; yet none of these make a man a Mason before the Grand Architect. It is the condition of our heart and the integrity of our conduct that tells who we really are.
When form replaces substance, when ritual is performed without transformation, then the 25 million members we are, make no difference in our world plagued by wars, fraud, and immorality. How can we call ourselves Masons and be consumed by pride, driven by superiority, and detached from our duties to God and our fellow-men? Why are not we subduing our passions, circumscribing our desires, and walking uprightly before God and man, faithfully laboring in service, charity, and truth? Masonry is a sacred right extended to worthy men who seek Light, membership is worthless if our conduct does not uphold the covenant we made with God and our Brethren.
The answer is not found in what we claim, but in how we live. Just as selfishness and ego corrupt the spirit, so too does true love, unconditional love, restore and redeem it. A doer of the Work, a real Mason governs himself, he acts with intention, speaks with care, and labors with humility. He places his trust in the Grand Architect above all else and seeks to align his will with Divine purpose. He becomes a living instrument of Light, steady, reliable, and present, serving God through service to humanity. We cannot be powerless observers of our present and our future, let us be the change, living examples of integrity, discipline, and brotherly love. Fraternally yours. Signed in Spirit and Truth.
